UKB 655E Electric Weed Control Machine
With the NEW Zacho UKB 655E, we have replaced the internal combustion engine with an electric fan and battery.
This is good for both you and the environment.
We have developed both UKB models that are self-propelled and versions
that can be mounted on tool carriers or other types of machines.
Areas of application:
ZACHO High-temperature hot air system:
Fast and efficient heat transfer. Angled positioning for effective curb treatment.
USE:
The machine is used for blanching weeds on paved surfaces, including asphalt, concrete, gravel, and other types of heat-resistant surfaces.
The machine is used along curbstones, sidewalks, paths, cycle paths, pedestrian areas, traffic islands, and around signs. The machine must not be used in enclosed spaces.
FUNCTION:
The UKB 655E is based on a high-temperature hot air system. Air is drawn in through the blower housing mounted on the motor and guided via a hose to the cannon’s combustion chamber, where the ignited gas is mixed with a large volume of air. This ensures very high combustion efficiency.
Since the combustion chamber is located in the upper part of the cannon, only the heated air is blown down into the heat shield. Due to the large air volume, the hot air is forced forward in front of the machine, heating the surface ahead. This preheating ensures a high and efficient working speed, as the weeds are “blanched” within seconds.
The design of the cannon ensures there is no risk of burns by touch or fire during operation.
Highly effective around signs, lampposts, benches, etc., due to the hot air fan in front of the machine.
Safe and simple operation with a “Quick on/off function.”
Electronic continuous ignition and automatic gas shut-off when stopping. No flammable gas/air mixture outside the equipment due to the air-based system with a large excess of air.
With the quick on/off function, the equipment is particularly suitable for “interval treatment,” significantly reducing gas consumption.
Vibrations:
Maximum 2.5 m/s²
Noise:
A-weighted sound pressure level measured at: 88 dB(A). Measured at a height of 1.7 m and at the operator’s position during normal use of the machine.
Hearing protection is therefore required when staying in close proximity to the machine.
