HILAPOL 60

Is a bituminous binder for the protection of asphalt surfaces and is suitable for medium to heavy traffic loads and/or under special climatic conditions. In addition, HILAPOL 60 is used for surface treatment (OB), for mixing repair materials for potholes, sealing of plinths, sealing of water reservoirs, as well as waterproofing of concrete surfaces, etc.

Properties

HILAPOL 60 is a labile/unstable – i.e. fast-breaking – cationic (acidic) bitumen emulsion that, among other things, contains synthetic rubber. This provides significantly improved stability in both cold and warm weather.

The emulsion complies with the requirements of the German standard DIN 1995 Part 3.

HILAPOL 60 has good storage stability, exhibits rapid curing (breaks quickly), and has excellent adhesion to aggregate materials.

The set bitumen meets ecological requirements for potential reuse.

HILAPOL 60 contains no organic solvents or fluxing agents.
